UVGI Sanitizing Cabinets

Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) is a disinfection method that uses short-wavelength ultraviolet (ultraviolet C or UVC) light to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions. Kills microorganisms and germs including viruses, bacteria, and mold spores.

How it Works UV Cabinet

How it Works

UV-C light disrupts the genetic material inside viruses, bacteria, and other microbes, rendering them harmless. *(See link below for reference from the CDC.)

Easily Programmable

Easily programmable

for sanitizing organism of choice: continuous UV-C dosing until full irradiation is performed with automatic shut-off.

UV-C Safety

Safe During Operation

Fully enclosed chamber protects users from accidental UV-C exposure due to opening of door.

*UVGI Sanitizing Cabinets have not been tested yet on the COVID-19 Coronavirus. They have been laboratory tested against common household bacteria and other common viruses. UV-C is a suggested method of sanitizing from the CDC, especially for Filtering Facepiece Respirators (FFRs). Learn more about COVID-19 and prevention of its spread from the CDC and WHO – www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/hcp/ppe-strategy/decontamination-reuse-respirators.html

Our powerful germicidal UV-C sanitizes exposed surfaces of objects such as face masks, gloves, cell phones, and tablets.

Features include:

  • Embedded UV sensor inside chamber accurately measures UV-C output for adjusting dosage energy and time.
  • Programmable microprocessor circuitry automatically calculates irradiation time based on dosage energy entry, eliminating manual and guess work.
  • EMI/RFI protection.
  • Constructed of anodized aluminum for easy cleaning and durability.
Application UVGI
UVGI Sanitizing Cabinets have not been tested yet on the COVID-19 Coronavirus. They have been laboratory tested against common household bacteria and other common viruses. The degradation of material properties during decontamination is not known, so decontamination of FFRs should only be used in crisis cases.
