The AccuMAX™ XR-1000 is a handheld digital radiometer readout unit used to display UV-A and visible light intensity measurements for verifying inspection lamp output. It pairs with a compatible AccuMAX sensor detector (XDS-1000, XDS-1000A, XS-555/L, XS-555/I, XS-254, XS-300, XS-365, or XS-450), NDT technicians and calibration labs use the combination to confirm lamps meet the minimum UV-A intensity required for compliant fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle inspection.

Disclaimer: The XR-1000 is a readout unit that requires a compatible sensor to operate and is supplied uncalibrated as a standalone purchase. To receive a factory-calibrated system, specification-verified unit, the XR-1000 must be ordered together with a compatible sensor. Supported sensors include the XDS-1000, XDS-1000A, XS-555/L, XS-555/I, XS-254, XS-300, XS-365, and XS-450. Customers who already own a compatible sensor may return it alongside the new XR-1000 to Spectro-UV for combined Sensor-and-unit calibration, subject to applicable service fees.
