The AccuMAX™ XDS-1000 is a UV-A and visible light sensor detector used with the AccuMAX readout unit to measure lamp intensity at 365 nm UV and 555 nm visible wavelengths. NDT technicians and calibration labs pair it with the XR-1000 or XRP-series readout to verify inspection lamps are producing sufficient UV-A output for fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle inspection.

The AccuMAX Dual Sensor Detector (ASTM) XDS-1000 is compatible with the XR-1000 AccuMAX Radiometer/Photometer Readout Unit and has a larger aperture size (known as a cap) compared to the XDS-1000A model.
