specification-verified unit, sensors must be ordered together with a new XR-1000 readout unit. Customers with an existing XR-1000 may return it alongside the new sensor to Spectro-UV for combined sensor-and-unit calibration, subject to applicable service fees.

What is the XS-365 used for? It's a UV-A sensor detector (320–420 nm) used with the AccuMAX readout unit to measure UV-A light output, the standard wavelength range for fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle inspection, as well as broader laboratory UV-A applications.

How is this different from the XDS-1000?

The XS-365 measures UV-A only; the XDS-1000 measures both UV-A and visible light in one sensor. Choose the XS-365 for UV-A-specific measurement, or the XDS-1000/XDS-1000A when you also need visible light readings.

Does it work without a readout unit? No, it requires a compatible AccuMAX readout unit to display a measurement.
